The first day of the autumn term for children in Monday 6 September.  The school will open at 8.55am.

All new children in Years 1 to 6 should come to the office, unless they have been told to do something else.

All Reception children should go, with their parents, to the Reception classrooms.  Please remember that the Reception children and their parents will be enjoying a picnic during the day - so lets hope for sunny, warm weather - it should be, it is the first day of the autumn term!

Autumn Term

Half term holiday: 25th Ocotber to 29th October 2010

Last day of term: Friday 17 December 2010

Eco School Award

St. Andrew's has now received this award in recognition of our concern for the environment. We are working very hard for the silver award.

Inset Days

• The school is closed to children on Wednesday 1st September, Thursday 2 September and Friday 3 September 2010, for staff training and in-service education. 

• The school will be similarly closed on Friday 24 June and Monday 27 June 2011.

• There is one further Inset day to be organised.

(Inset is short of Inservice Training.)

ArtsMark Gold

In recognisition of the school's continued oustanding performance in the creative arts, the Arts Council for Great Britian has re-awarded the school with ArtsMark Gold.  This award stands for the next 3 years.  The Award was made in May 2010.
